When you don't got it, you have no choice but to be creative. During hard times, I use what I have in my closet and make it work. My top and grey pumps were thrifted. My floral romper from wet seal were folded into shorts and I used a detachable ankle strap from one of my wedges to give my grey pumps a Mary Jane feel. Here's how I did it:

Everything Lovely Necklace

Sometimes, my inspiration comes from classic films. In this case, I was inspired by Sandra Dee from one of my favorite movies, Grease. I was excited to see that off shoulder pieces were trending again. I love how they give your outfit an instant flirty edge. I have also been obsessed with American Apparel's disco pants. These have to be my favorite leggings of all time. They are high wasted and extremely flattering on any body type!

If you know me and know me well, you would know how much I love thrifting and prints! This chevron print made me go nuts and the fact that it's a maxi dress is even better. I love throwing on maxi dresses during the hot summers or my lazy days when I do not feel like getting dressed. The handbag was to die for. It's "envelop-ish" and boxy just how I like it. I am not a big Rue 21 shopper but I went in one day and came across these inexpensive, coral pointed toe pumps and couldn't pass them up, along with my $3 statement necklace from H&M!

Floral prints seem to always trend during spring seasons but always vary in size... 

It's time to maximize those flowers ladies!
